2015: Revolutionized recycling operations by eliminating intermediaries, enabling direct material flow to the Reidsville shredder. Expanded capacity through the acquisition of a Lynchburg, VA location, initiating operations immediately.

 

February 2016: Closed the Creswell leased property and strategically transitioned assets to Mebane, NC. Launched a feeder yard in March 2016, optimizing material supply to the Reidsville shredder.

 

April 2016:  Expanded service offerings through the acquisition of Allied Contract Group, advancing Foss’s capabilities in Interior Demolition and Asbestos services, securing competitive advantages in a dynamic market.

 

2017: Boosted output at the Reidsville shredder from 3,500 to 6,000 tons through the strategic acquisition of feeder yards in Providence, NC, and Winston-Salem, NC. Enhanced Winston-Salem’s operations with non-ferrous scrap processing and retained U-Pull-It services.

 

November 2018: Expanded shredding capacity with the acquisition of Duke Recycling in Halifax, NC. Added a 4,000-HP shredder with a 6,000-ton capacity to meet rising material demand across six feeder yards.

 

April 2019: Established a Brokerage Division to capitalize on in-house material generation from 15 locations and two shredders. Staffed with experienced representatives, the division drives high-volume transactions and broadens market influence.
